Abstract

This research deals with part of the social history of the royal family in Egypt after the death of King Fouad1.It focuses on a description and analysis of telegrams of condolence sent to King Farouk, as well as telegrams sent to congratulate him on his accession to the throne from the four countries (USA - England - Empire of Japan - Germany) and keenness to maintain friendship and relations between them. In addition to focusing on the preserved in the museum, which is related to the royal register of the royal matrimony Marriage and Divorce (marriage of King Farouk and Queen Farida), and marriage of his sister Princess (Fawzia and Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi).The research presents many details about King Farouk's marriage, starting from the royal journey until the completion of the marriage, displaying the marriage book with which the divorce witnesses are attached, and describing and analyzing it. Finally,the marriage of Princess Fawzia and Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi and the details and reasons for marriage and divorce were discussed,the Objective of this research is to publishing and studying telegrams to highlight the importance of Egypt, its position among countries and their keenness on maintaining relations and Focusing on the royal marriage in the Muhammad Ali family, the research is based on a methodology The archival study through applying the standards of the International Council of Archival Description: the international description standard of an entity responsible for the preservation and acquisition of Archives and the international standard for archival description
