Minia Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Research (MJTHR) issued by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Minia University since 2016. MJTHR is a scientific journal accredited by the Academy of Scientific Research, it is one of the special journals in Egypt and the Middle East, and it is founded to publish research and scientific contemporary articles in the field of tourism, hospitality, and tourist guidance. It publishes two issues annually and accepts research papers in English.

The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using professional plagiarism-checking software. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index resulting from plagiarism are rejected immediately.
